Hobie Tune-Up Day

The wind was blowing and the cats were lining up on Hobie Alley at Lake Nockamixon for the fleet's tun-up party on April 29th. Many members showed up for a day of sailing and fun. Maxwell Plarr of Sports Chalet and Todd Stevens of Sunset Boats offered a 10% discount on Hobie parts. Three of our newest members, Jeremy & Lori Ricci (H16) and Keith Wisham (H18) showed up.
The food was also hot. Steve Plarr & familiy were cooking hotdogs and other fleet members brought enough food that everyone was well fed! We had a great fleet meeting and discussed a fleet fun day at Marsh Creek with scouts for June 18th. Our treasury report wa sread by Chris Begrow and we discussed the ordering of towels as our giveaway for the Barnet Breezer regatta.
For those of us who sailed the morning gave us great wind, but it started to die towards the afternoon. Regardless, we still had the opportunity to tune-up and do what we do best.....sail Hobies!!
